Cm3 WHS Prequalification
CIA has achieved Cm3 Contractor OHS/WHS Prequalification that demonstrates our contractor health and safety management capabilities along with providing assistance to better manage our ongoing WHS requirements.
Cm3 is a leading online WHS Prequalification system that can be a mandatory prerequisite for working for many large organisations as it provides a rigorous third party assessment of the internal systems and processes that service providers such as CIA employ to effectively manage Work, Health and Safety.
With experienced employees and an extensive network of quality sub-contractors specialising in a wide range of trade services, we ensure all clients’ needs are met and serviced in an efficient and timely manner. CIA Services Group manages commercial risk through the CIA Induction Program by ensuring all of our sub-contractors have current, appropriate insurance cover and licenses and are fully compliant with relevant WHS processes and protocols.

CIA is a member of the Master Builders Association and shares a common founding goal in that it too was established with the intent on raising standards within an industry.
Since its inception in 1875 the organisation has grown to become a pre-eminent industry voice with members universally renowned for their reliability, skill and professionalism.
As a broad based organisation, Master Builders services the needs of the entire industry, from residential to commercial and engineering businesses, principal contractors to subcontractors, manufacturers and suppliers.
They offer assistance in developing the skills of members like CIA Services Group by providing access to a wide range of services, an impressive degree of recognition, as well as representation to government and industry. Master Builders also serves the public of Victoria by fostering best practice work standards and acting as an independent advisory service.
Building Service Contractors Association of Australia
CIA is also an active member of the Building Service Contractors Association of Australia (BSCCA), Victorian Division with our Managing Director, Stephane Fayd’herbe sitting on the Executive Committee as Treasurer.
The BSCAA is Australia’s peak industry representative body for the building services industry. Members include contractors for cleaning, security, facilities management and grounds maintenance.
The BSCAA provides leadership for members and the provision of a range of relevant and quality services. They seek to work with Government and other industry stakeholders to improve the professionalism of the industry and all those that participate within it.
CIA was founded by Stephane Fayd’herbe in 2006. He is the driving force behind setting and establishing the company’s standards and his commitment to providing exceptional property services has resulted in its growth and success.
Stephane’s skills are broad and varied and his enthusiasm and dedication, with which he runs all aspects of his life, has seen him excel in a diverse range of fields: from his international equestrian career as a World Cup show jumping competitor and trainer to Managing Director of the Cleaning Institute of Australia and now the expanded company known as CIA Services Group.
Born from his equestrian career and developed through the early years of CIA, Stephane has created a company culture based on the belief that high levels of organisation along with physical appearance and a commitment to high standards impact high performance.
Clients and industry leaders have widely commended Stephane and his CIA team for their dedication to lifting the bar in a sector much maligned for poor performance. Under his leadership CIA has proven to be the new breed of service provider.
Stephane is an FMA (Facility Management Association of Australia) member and has sat on the BSCAA (Building Services Contractors Association of Australia) Executive Committee as Treasurer.
Vincent De Lorenzo
In his role as Senior Finance Manager, Vincent manages the smooth financial running of CIA Services Group and works closely with the Operations team and Managing Director while overseeing the Finance & Administration Department.
Vince is CPA qualified, has a Bachelor of Business and brings to CIA his extensive experience in the cleaning services industry as well as automotive, retail, importing and distribution industries, having overseen substantial company accounts with national and international operations.
Possessing a high level of knowledge, a calm demeanour and a hands-on approach Vince is proactive in operations management, business development and strategic planning to achieve greater efficiencies and cost effectiveness that benefit both CIA and our clients.
While delivering quality property solutions is the primary function of CIA, Customer Service is at the core of the business. Having commenced with CIA in early 2014 as a consultant in assisting with the expanded CIA Work Health Safety program Pahl has developed a deep understanding of the operational side of the business and stepped up and into the role of Customer Service Manager.
Pahl (pronounced as Fall) has an impressive pedigree. He has worked as a Manager in Administration and OH&S for the last 15 years where he has managed large teams across multiple sites.
At CIA Pahl works closely with both the Managing Director who runs Operations and Senior Finance Manager in ensuring the smooth flow of the day-to-day operational aspects of the business which includes quoting and scheduling jobs and co-ordinating workflow.
Cool under pressure, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for both company and client is in Pahl’s operating DNA.
Marcus possesses a breadth of skill sets and qualifications that encompass the cleaning and property services sector as well as building and construction. The combination of this diverse experience has gained Marcus a unique understanding of buildings, how they are made and how they need to be maintained. In his role as CIA Senior Front Line Manager, his knowledge of materials, surfaces and fabrications informs his operational methodologies coupled with his hands on management approach produces effective results for our clients.
From project managing building sites to cleaning and maintaining medical operating theatres, Marcus can deliver a high standard of meticulous service and customer satisfaction in any environment.
Working closely with the Managing Director in strategically managing the day-to-day operational aspects of the business and ensuring all service level agreements are being met and exceeded is Marcus’s driving focus. Performing site inspections and meeting face-to-face with clients to assess and better understand their site specific needs is a part of what he does everyday.
Richard brings business acumen and leadership skills that drive Human Resources and WHS for CIA as well as managing all communications, B2B and B2C, across all channels.
Part of his role at CIA is to uphold and implement the company’s commitment to staff training and development. In this capacity Richard leads the WHS Committee to formulate and deliver CIAsafe, a best practice Safety Toolbox system. He also provides human recourses support to the business in the areas of role definition, policies and procedures, people and safety.
Richard has a background in managing people and creative services, having run his successful design and advertising agency, RBD for 20 years.
An articulate communicator Richard is passionate about developing strong brands and a dynamic company culture through the empowerment and nurturing of its most valuable asset: its people.
